I am a Los Angeles native raised in Italy, I have studied art in Florence and
film in Rome at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, during which time I interned in the costume department of acclaimed designer Millenotti on feature film La voce della luna a Federico Fellini film.
I thereafter received a Warner Brothers Scholarship that allowed
me to attend the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles, and graduated with a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the Film and Animation program.
My short animations and documentary films have been screened internationally, from the Berlin Film Festival 1990 to the Centre George Pompidou in Paris. I have received numerous grants and awards – from George Soros Foundation grant, Puffin foundation grant to a Student Academy Award Nomination.
I have worked as an animator and artist on the visually thrilling multimedia project, Eve, directed by musician Peter Gabriel at Real World Studios in
Bath-England.
I began my career as a Production Designer with the award winning short film Bamboleho a recipient of over 45 international prizes, including– Best Short Film at Tribeca Film Festival and Special Jury Mention at the 58th Venice Film Festival.
My latest production design work includes KIDNAP a Halle Berry action thriller and Royal Robbins commercial.
I am fluent in Italian, Spanish and English and have shot in the USA, UK, Spain, Italy and Argentina.
